The EU AI Act is the world's first law regulating business use of AI. What this Kit is not
We'd rather tell you before you pay, not after.
- It is not a law firm: we do not issue legal opinions or defend you in sanctioning proceedings. For that we refer you to specialists.
- If you use complex high-risk AI (biometrics, credit scoring, automated recruitment), the Kit detects and documents it, but that case also needs specific legal review which we coordinate separately.
- It does not replace your general GDPR compliance: it covers the AI part (and data hygiene when using it), not all your data protection.
FAQ
Is this really mandatory or is it hype?
It is Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, in force. Staff training (Art. 4) applies since 2 February 2025; transparency notices and content marking (Art. 50) from 2 August 2026, when AESIA supervision also starts. Every statement in the report carries its official source.
We only use ChatGPT occasionally. Does it affect us?
Yes. If the team uses AI at work — even free and occasionally — the company must ensure and be able to prove staff AI literacy. That is precisely most SMEs' case, and the easiest to fix with the Kit.
What if I do nothing?
Three risks: fines (for SMEs, proportional to turnover — up to 7% depending on the breach, and the Spanish bill foresees from €6,000 for minor ones); an inspection with nothing to show; and losing clients and tenders that already require responsible-AI evidence.
